| Hope this letter will meet you in better health. May the Lord give you good health to guide your “sheep” much more time. My greetings to your brother Don Piergiorgio who had succeeded you as the shepherd of Mandriolo community. May the Lord give the needed health and wisdom to guide his flock. | Spero che questa lettera ti trovi meglio. Possa Dio concederti buona salute per guidare il tuo “gregge” ancora a lungo. I miei auguri a tuo fratello Don Piergiorgio che ti è succeduto come pastore della comunità di Mandriolo. Possa il Signore concedere la salute necessaria e la saggezza per guidare il suo gregge. |
| Mr. Valentino Casarini is really taking lot of his time to keep our two parishes together and work together for the glory of the Lord. On behalf of myself and on behalf of the catholics of this parishes I thank him for his efforts to get our poor children a places in the homes of the Mandriolo Parish families. Already 61 members had accepted to help the poor children of Amalapuram-Razole parishes in their school education. I am sure that the presence of these children though in photoes, will increase the foster parents joy. Today because of you, dear benefactors, these children are in better clothing, better food and better education due to your sacrificeses. Every day these children will pray for each one of you and I am sure that the Lord will bless you all. | Valentino Casarini sta davvero dedicando molto del suo tempo per mantenere vivi i rapporti tra le nostre due parrochie affinché esse collaborino a rendere gloria al Signore. Da parte mia e dei cattolici di queste parrocchie lo ringrazio per avere procurato ai nostri poveri bimbi un posto nelle case delle famiglie di Mandriolo. Già 61 famiglie hanno accettato di aiutare i ragazzi poveri di Amalapuram-Razole nel loro percorso educativo. Sono sicuro che la presenza di questi bimbi, benché in foto, procurerà letizia a chi li aiuta. Oggi, grazie a voi ed ai vostri sacrifici, cari benefattori, questi ragazzi sono meglio vestiti, nutriti ed assistiti. Essi pregheranno per ciascuno di voi ogni giorno e sono certo che il Signore vi benedirà tutti. | |
| As mr. Valentino Casarini had asked me I am sending 6 snaps of new girls and 11 snaps of new boys to be adopted. Since our school year starts in June from June onwards we gett additional children to the boarding. So year by year we try to increase the number, depends on the availability of accomodation and the needed finance for the maintenance. So once these 17 children gets adoptions the total number will be 78 out of more than 100 children. Every year some of the parents will shift their residence from the local villages to far away towns for work and then they take the children too with them. No one can stop this situation and so some of the foster parents will loose their children and these shifts will take-place in the summar months of April to June. | Come Valentino mi ha chiesto, spedisco 6 foto di nuove ragazzine e 11 foto di nuovi ragazzini da adottare. Il nostro anno scolastico ha inizio in giugno, periodo in cui aumentano gli ingressi nella nostra struttura. Sicché, anno per anno, cerchiamo di aumentare il numero in base agli spazi disponibili ed alle necessità finanziarie per il mantenimento. Se questi 17 bambini saranno adottati, arriveremo ad un totale di 78 su 100. Ogni anni alcune famiglie emigrano dai villaggi locali a città lontane per lavoro, portando con sé i propri figli. Nessuno può fermare questo fenomeno per cui alcuni padrini perderanno i bimbi rispettivamente adottati, e questi cambiamenti avranno luogo intorno ai mesi da aprile a giugno. | |

Now coming to the Jubilee Celebration I include a few snaps of the functions. It was a 6 day celebration lasted on the 13th of January 2007. On the concluding day One Bishop, 45 priests and more than 50 sisters and about 2000 people attened the programme. All the Catechists of Conaseema, 60 of them, were given bi-cycles, Bible and rosaries as a gift for their work in the past. The expenses of all these met with the money of you and other benefactors of this mission. I am very much grateful to all of you and the children of Mandriolo Parish for their support in the last 40 years. Special Masses were offered for all of you. Now the snaps will explain the rest of the celebrations. |
Venendo alla celebrazione dell’anniversario, accludo alcune foto delle funzioni. E` stata una celebrazione di 6 giorni durata fino al 13 gennaio 2007. Durante l’ultima giornata erano presenti un vescovo, 45 preti e più di 50 suore e circa 2.000 fedeli. A tutti i 60 catechisti di Conaseema sono stati dati una bicicletta, Bibbia e rosario come dono per l’attività da loro svolta finora. Per sostenere tutte queste spese abbiamo attinto dalle vostre offerte e da quelle di altri benefattori di questa missione. Sono veramente grato a tutti voi ed ai bambini della Parrocchia di Mandriolo per il loro aiuto in questi 40 anni. Sono state offerte speciali messe per voi tutti. Ora le immagini vi illustreranno il resto delle celebrazioni. |
