Dear Mr. Valentino Casarini, Don Giancarlo, Don Piergiorgio, Parents and Children of Mandriolo,
Caro Valentino Casarini, Don Giancarlo, Don Piergiorgio, genitori e bambini di Mandriolo,
Received, with thanks, the e-mail of Mr. Valentino Casarini and I am glad to know that all of you are doing fine. May the Lord continue to bless every one of you. From Casarini's letter I cam to know that the Mabdriolo's Parish anniversary is being celebrated in June- from the year 1981 onwards. I fell that it is a co-incident that the Mission of Razole is started on th 15th of June 1981. Yes it is a great day for our 'Twin Parishes of Mandriolo-Razole". Now our Razole Mission has 3 daughter parishes namely-Munganda, Lakkavaram and Mamidikuduru. Now our old Amalapuram parish has 14 daughter parishes (from 1971 to 2004). So as you see the growth is rather good and fast. Yes Mandriolo can be proud off this growth for your co-operation with my work has been blessed by our Lord.

Da quanto scrive Valentino sembra che a Giugno celebrerete la vostra festa parrocchiale come fate oramai dal 1981. Che strana coincidenza: anche la Missione di Raziole ebbe inizio il 15 Giugno 1981. Sì, è un grande giorno per le nostre due parrocchie gemellate. La nostra Missione conta oggi 3 parrocchie figlie che si chiamano Munganda, Lakkavaram e Mamidikuduru. Invece la nostre antica parrocchia di Amalapuram ha 14 parrocchie figlie nate dal 1971 al 2004. Come vedete la crescita è stata buona e veloce. Mandriolo può andare fiera di questo ampliamento che è frutto della vostra collaborazione al mio lavoro benedetto da Dio.
Coming to our Razole Parish, now, we have 15 villages may Sub-stations and I hope to make another Parish by the time of our SILVER JUBILEE-in June, 2006. We have English Medium and a Telugu Medium schools to meet the needs of the local people. A good free boarding to attached to the Telugu medium school to meet the needs of the poor village children. There are 75 children now and we meet all their expenses with the aim of educating them. The home for the Aged is attached to the Lakkavaram Parish but I support them with financial assistance . There are 36 inmates. The other Parish activities are helping the poor to put-up their houses and giving help to meet the medical needs of the poor. A lot of the poor are coming for help from the mission. So all the support you are giving to this mission will help me to help the poor. Before the end of this month I shall send you some snaps of the mission activities.
Tornando alla parrocchia di Razole, ora contiamo 15 villaggi o sub-stazioni ed io spero proprio di ricavarne entro l'anno giubilare 2006 un nuova parrocchia. Abbiamo istituito una scuola media Inglese e una scuola media Telugu per venire incontro alle necessità della gente locale. Annessa a quest'ultima è stato aperto un pensionato per gli studenti delle famiglie bisognose. Esso ospita 75 ragazzi e per il momento riusciamo a fare fronte alle spese per la loro educazione. La casa di riposo per anziani, invece, si trova a Lakkavaram ma per la conduzione dell'istituto dobbiamo far fronte noi con le nostre risorse finanziarie. Ci sono attualmente 36 ricoverati. Con le attività delle altre parrocchie riusciamo ad aiutare i poveri a sistemare o costruire loro una casa e a dare loro una minima assistenza sanitaria. I poveri che vengono a chiederci aiuto sono tantissimi così tutto il supporto che voi sempre date a noi lo date per loro per alleviare le loro sofferenze. Prima della fine del mese vorrei mandarvi alcune fotografie che vi mostrano alcune delle nostre attività.
Now coming to my health-I practically recovered from my sickness. Still I feel some numbness on the two legs but there are not affecting my day today works. I have an assistant priest and also a brother. Yes so many people had prayed for me and they say my recovered was a miracle. Yes I thank God and pray for His blessings upon all those who had prayed for me. I thank each and every one of you for your prayers. Please give my Easter greeting to Don Giancarlo and Piergiorgio. Please convey my Easter greetings to the parents and children of Mandriolo.
Quanto al mio stato di salute mi sono praticamente ristabilito al completo. Ancora sento talvolta un pò di insensibilità ad entrambe le gambe ma per fortuna questo non mi impedisce di svolgere oggi il mio lavoro. Ho un sacerdote assistente e anche un fratello. Tante, tante persone hanno pregato per me e il Signore e ora dicono che Lui ha compiuto il miracolo. Davvero ringrazio Dio e lo prego per tutte le Sue benedizioni su di me e su tutti coloro che mi vogliono bene e che hanno pregato per me. Grazie, grazie ad ognuno di voi per tutte le vostre preghiere. Vi prego di far pervenire i miei Auguri Pasquali e i miei più cordiali saluti a Don Giancarlo e Don Piergiorgio. Salutatemi anche i cari bambini di Mandriolo.
