Regarding the information of your e-mail January 14th 2007 - I was too much pre-occupied with the feast and other works connected to the school. So I had sent you the reply message only on 22nd January. Due to some mistake in the address the message came back after 10 days and mean time my computer had developed some problems. Now every thing is fine and please excuse me for the delay and inconvenience. Here below I repeat the message sent on 22nd of January 2007.

Circa le informazioni della tua e-mail del 14 gennaio 2007, sono stato alquanto occupato con la festa e gli altri lavori connessi alla scuola. Sicché ti ho spedito la risposta solo il 22 gennaio. A causa di un errore nell'indirizzo, il messaggio è ritornato dopo 10 giorni e contemporaneamente il mio computer ha avuto problemi. Ora ogni cosa è a posto, ti chiedo di scusarmi per gli inconvenienti e il ritardo. Qui sotto ripeto il messaggio spedito il 22 gennaio 2007.

« Received your letter of 14th January with the information about the adoptions. The Bishop’s House has already informed me that the money has reached. I thank each and every one of the benefactors and specially you, dear Valentino Casarini, for taking the trouble to help in the education of the poor children for this parish.

« Ho ricevuto la tua lettera del 14 gennaio con le informazioni sulle adozioni. L'episcopato mi ha già informato di avere ricevuto le offerte. Ringrazio ognuno dei benefattori e specialmente te, caro Valentino Casarini, per esserti sforzato di favorire l'educazione dei bambini poveri di questa parrocchia.

Sorry to hear the death of Gianluca Cataliani the benefactor of Pommabi Johnson. We all prayer for his eternal lost and I had offered a Mass for him. Please convey our condolence to his wife and children. May the Lord comfort them and protect them in their great sorrow. We shall continue to pray for all of benefactors.

Mi addolora apprendere della morte di Gianluca Catellani, benefattore di Pommabi Johnson. Noi preghiamo per la sua scomparsa e abbiamo celebrato una messa per lui. Fai avere le nostre condoglianze a sua moglie ed ai suoi bimbi. Possa il Signore confortarli e proteggerli nel loro grande dolore. Noi continueremo a pregare per tutti i benefattori.

Please tell Don Giancarlo that the children together with the Parishioners, sisters and myself shall pray for his better health and long life. Yes more than 40 years he was with the Parish of Amalapuram-Razole with his "sheep". With the sacrificeses of the faithful of Mandriolo the Lord has blessed this area and as a result from a single parish it became 17 parishes. Yes Don Giancarlo had kept both our parishes together binding to the Cross. Please convey our congratulations to Don Piergiorgio on his elevation as the parish priest of Mandriolo. I assure him that we all shall continue to pray for him. May the Lord be with him.

Per favore dì a Don Giancarlo che i bambini insieme con i parrocchiani, le sorelle ed io intendiamo pregare affinché stia bene e goda di lunga vita. Sì, per più di 40 anni egli è rimasto con la Parrocchia di Amalapuram-Razole, con le sue “pecorelle”. Coi sacrifici dei fedeli di Mandriolo il Signore ha benedetto questa regione e, come risultato, da una singola parrocchia ne sono nate 17. Sì, Don Giancarlo ha mantenuto entrambe le nostre parrocchie insieme legandole alla Croce. Porgi dunque le nostre congratulazioni a Don Piergiorgio per la sua promozione a parroco di Mandriolo. Gli assicuro che noi tutti continueremo a pregare per lui. Possa il Signore essere con lui.

Regarding the 5 children mentioned in your mail they are no more available for adoption. They together with their parents had gone to bigger towns for work. Due to this and as asked by you I had forwarded 18 new children. I hope these snaps had reached the parish by this time. If these are not reached please inform me and I shall forward the same to you. »

Circa i 5 bambini citati nella tua mail, non sono più disponibili per le adozioni. Essi, insieme con i loro genitori, sono emigrati verso città più grandi, per lavorare. Sicché, così come hai chiesto, ti ho inviato 18 nuovi bimbi. Spero che abbiate già ricevuto in parrocchia le relative foto. In caso contrario informami e le invierò a te. »
