SAD NEWS: My Bishop M. John expired on Aug 16 at 12.15 p.m in the hospital at Vijayawada. It is very sad for all of us at the sad demise of Peoples Bishop, His Lordship Most Rev. Bishop M. John, the most successful Bishop with 32 years of Episcopate! |
TRISTI NOTIZIE: Il mio vescovo M. John è morto il 16 agosto alle 12.15 in ospedale a Vijayawada. La dolorosa scomparsa del Vescovo del popolo, Sua Eccellenza Mons. M. John, rende tutti noi molto tristi. Era il vescovo più conosciuto ed amato con 32 anni di episcopato! |

| Within a short period, almost all the Priests, Sisters, Candidates, Catechists and faithful in and around Eluru came to Bishops House to respectably welcome the body of Bishop M. John. | Per un breve periodo, quasi tutti i sacerdoti, suore, novizi, catechisti e fedeli, da Eluru e dintorni, sono giunti in episcopato ed hanno visitato e reso omaggio alla salma vescovo M. John. | |

Body was bought at 8.00 pm. on Aug 16, 2009 for the public to see. It was kept for two days for the people to see and to make arrangements for the funeral. |
Il suo corpo è stato esposto alle 20.00 del 16 agosto 2009 e vi è rimasto per due giorni, durante i quali la gente ha potuto vederlo per l’ultima volta, permettendo nel frattempo di organizzare la cerimonia funebre. | |

The funeral was condudcted on Aug 18, 2009 at 10.20.a.m. All the Bishops from Andrapradesh participated in the Holy Eucharistic celebration. He was burried in our cathedal. Everything was conducted by our V.G Msgr. Fr. G. Balthazar in ordely and systamtic way paying last tribute with lot of respect. Everything was conducted in a spititual way. |
Il funerale si è svolto il 18 agosto, alle 10.20. Tutti i vescovi di Andrapradesh hanno preso parte alla santa celebrazione eucaristica. Egli è quindi stato seppellito nella nostra cattedrale. Tutta la funzione è stata presieduta dal nostro V.G Mons. Fr. G. Balthazar e si รจ svolta in modo ordinato e rispettoso, rendendo un grande ultimo omaggio al defunto, con grande partecipazione spirituale. |
