| Saluti da Mandriolo. Come va? Spero stiate tutti bene. La salute del nostro don Giancarlo è stazionaria sicché possiamo (dobbiamo) accontentarci. Ringraziamo il signore di averlo conservato fino ad oggi (ha 82 anni). In questo inizio di primavera la parrocchia sta pianificando i preparativi per l’annuale festa parrocchiale (seconda domenica di giugno). Questa è praticamente l’unica fonte di entrate finanziarie per la parrocchia che, ora e nel prossimo futuro deve fronteggiare costosi lavori di manutenzione dei propri immobili. Probabilente per la prima volta la festa non si svolgerà a Mandriolo, ma a San Martino. Questo è un altro tentativo di condividere le cose e le esperienze fra le altre parrocchie “sorelle”, un altro contributo per mettere in pratica l’unità pastorale desiderata. Il parroco don Wojciech ed i parrocchiani stanno impegnandosi in questo senso. | Greetings from Mandriolo. How are you? I hope you are all well. The health of our Father Giancarlo is stationary so that we can (we must) be satisfied. We thank the Lord for having preserve him until now (82 years). At the beginning of spring, we are planning the preparations for the annual parish feast (second Sunday in June). This is practically the only source of financial revenue for our parish, that now and in the next future has to face expensive maintenance works to its property structures. Probably, for the first time, the feast will not take place in Mandriolo, but at San Martino, a sister parish. This is another attempt to share things and experiences among the other parishes “sisters”; another contribute to realizing in practice the pastoral unit desired. The parish priest, Father Wojciech and parishioners are engaging in this sense. |
| Purtroppo, come ho già detto in altre occasione, questi sono tempi difficili per noi: l’antica tradizione cristiana è stata fortemente messa in discussione dai moderni stili di vita. I preti, ormai, sono sempre più rari e vecchi; la gente, attratta in mille altre direzione e distratta dalle infinite opportunità di svago consentite dal benessere, non prende più parte alla vita comunitaria cristiana; molte idee o ideologie spingono, con apparente successo, la gente lontano dalla fede e dai valori cristiani sui quali si è formata la nostra società occidentale. Sicché ai fedeli rimasti viene chiesto nuovo zelo missionario ed il superamento dei vecchi confini parrocchiali. Le comunità cristiane, sempre più sparute, devono organizzarsi insieme ed unirsi per sentirsi ancora vive. Anche da queste esigenze nascono le unità pastorali (una delle quali è Mandrio, Mandriolo e San Martino). | Unfortunately, as I have said on other occasion, these are difficult times for us: the ancient Christian tradition is being strongly challenged by modern lifestyles. The priests are increasingly rare and old; people - attracted in a thousand other directions and distracted by the endless amusements allowed by the high standard of living - no longer takes part in the Christian community life. A lot of false and illusory ideas/ideologies push, with apparent success, people away from faith and Christian values upon which our Western society was built. So the faithful who remain need a new missionary zeal and have to overcome the ancient parish boundaries. The Christian communities, less and less numerous, have to organize toghether and join with other ones to feel still alive. Even from this situation arises the necessity of create the pastoral units (one of which is Mandrio, Mandriolo and San Martino). | |
