How are you? It is a long time since I wrote a letter to you. I am sorry for my delay. How goes life over there? Hope everything goes well with you and with all our friends at Mandrilo. Here I am fine. Everything goes on well with the mission work here and with me too.
|
|
Come state? E' da molto tempo che non vi scrivo. Mi scuso per il ritardo. Come va dalle vostre parti? Spero bene per tutti i nostri amici di Mandriolo. Qui va bene sia per me sia per il lavoro nella missione.

The parish is progressing. I find lot of joy when the faithful increase. On Sundays the church is full with the faithful. Daily known and unknown both Christians and non-Christians visit the church to pray everyday during the day time. It gives me a lot of happiness. I always remember you and all the friends of Mandrilo specially Don Giancarlo. It you who gifted the such a beautiful church for this parish.

La parrocchia sta progredendo ed il crescente numero di fedeli mi dà moltà gioia. La domenica la chiesa ne è piena. Quotidianamente, durante la giornata, persone conosciute e sconosciute, cristiani e non cristiani, la visitano per pregare, e io ne sono tanto felice. Sempre mi ricordo degli amici di Mandriolo e specialmente di don Giancarlo, che hanno donato una così bella chiesta a questa parrocchia.

Next month during the month of October we are planning to have special prayer in the parish to propagate the devotion of Rosary especially the Family Rosary. The whole month we will have a lot of pastoral activities both at parish level and in the villages [ mission stations] We will be too busy during this month.

|
In ottobre è prevista una speciale iniziativa di preghiera per diffondere la devozione del Rosario, specialmente quello in famiglia. Durante l'intero mese condurremo una gran quantità di attività pastorali, sia nella parrocchia sia nei villaggi decentrati [stazioni missionarie]. Saremo indaffaratissimi durante questo mese.

We are having many Baptisms. The church at Razole is flourishing. All the spiritual need are being catered regularly.
|
|
Stiamo per amministrare molti battesimi. La chiesa di Razole sta fiorendo e tutte le necessità spirituali sono regolarmente soddisfatte.

Piccolo aggiornamento sui bambini:

|
All the children are happy. They send greetings to you and to all our friends over there. We pray for you. The children everyday, they pray for the Benefactors. They offer Rosary for their families. They are studying well. They finished Exams two time. [Unit Test – I, Unit Test – II] Now they are preparing for the Quarterly Exams. They will write Quarterly Exams in the month of October.

Sono tutti sereni ed inviano i loro saluti a tutti i nostri amici. Preghiamo per voi ed i bambini, ogni giorno, per i loro benefattori. Offrono il rosario alle loro famiglie. Studiano con profitto ed hanno concluso la doppia sessione di esami. Ora si stanno preparando per gli esami quadrimestrali che sosterranno nel mese di ottobre.

Since it is rainy season, many children are sick now. Many are having viral fever. We take care of them well. Immediately we take the children to the hospitals.
|
|
Poiché siamo nella stagione delle piogge, ora molti bambini sono malati, con febbre virale. Ma noi ci prendiamo bene cura di loro, anche portandoli all'ospedale.
|
|
Please pray for me so that I can dedicate more manly for the Evengelization to take Christ to many and for the education of the poor children who are deprived of their right for education due to their poverty.

|
Vi chiedo di pregare per me, affinché io possa dedicarmi energicamente all'evangelizzazione, per portare Cristo a molti e per l'educazione dei bambini che, a causa della loro povertà, sono deprivati del loro diritto all'istruzione.
